Configuration of Daily Business Intelligence (DBI) HRMS (Oracle HRMS)
Step - 1 Attach the following responsibilities to the relevant users.
1. Daily Business Intelligence Administrator (System Administrator)
2. Daily HR Intelligence (Users of DBI)
3. HR Line Manager (HR Managers or Line Managers)
4. Chief HR Officer (HR Executive, CEO or HR Director)
To attach the responsibilities to the users:
Navigate to System Administrator > Security > User > Define.
Query the user and attach the relevant responsibility..
Step - 2
Navigate to: Daily Business Intelligence Administrator Responsibility > Setup > Global > Define Parameters.
Set up the parameters.
Fill in the relevant required Parameters and Click Apply.
Step - 3
Navigate to Daily Business Administrator > Setup > Global > Administer Content. To add dashboards.
Select Human Resources in Functional Area and Click GO.
Dashboards will appear.
Tick the Implement box in front of each dashboard that you want to implement.
Click Apply.
Step - 4
Generate Request Set.
Navigate to Daily Business Intelligence > Data Summarization > Request Sets > Administer Request Sets
Click Generate Request Set
- Enter the Request Set Name and Internal Name.
- Tick Load Summaries.
- Requests Sets are to be made for all of three:
- Tick Enable Auditing.
Now click Add Content to add the dashboards for which this request set will run.
- Select Human Resources as Functional Area.
- Select the dashboard and proceed.
Click apply.
Step - 5
Navigate to Daily Business Intelligence Administrator > Setup > Global > Define Geography Dimension.
Click Create Area.
- Enter the Area Name, Internal Name and Description.
- Select the relevant country by clicking add countries.
Click apply.
Step - 6 Generate triggers.
Navigate to: Global HRMS Manager > Other Definition > Functional Areas
Navigate to System Administrator > Profile > System
1. Daily Business Intelligence Administrator (System Administrator)
2. Daily HR Intelligence (Users of DBI)

Navigate to Daily Business Intelligence Administrator > Setup > Global > Define Geography Dimension.

Step - 6 Generate triggers.
Navigate to: Global HRMS Manager > Other Definition > Functional Areas
- Query for "INCIDENT REGISTER"
- Go to Business group tab and Select the appropriate Business Group or All Business Groups to Generate the trigger.

Step - 8 Run the Request Set (that we created in Step 4)
Navigate to Daily Business Administrator
and run the request set.
- Run the INITIAL LOAD request set first, to initially load all the selected dashboards.
- Run "Update Time Dimension (Initial)" request when setting up DBI initially.
- Run the INCREMENTAL_LOAD request set to update the dashboards as new data will be entered (This set will be normally scheduled on daily, weekly or monthly basis).
- Run CLEAR_ALL set to remove all the data from dashboards and clear everything.
Setup is now complete. Navigate to the relevant Responsibilities mentioned in Step 1 to view dashboards.
